Steve Miller Band is a US rock band formed in San Francisco in 1967 California. Steve Miller along with keyboard player Chris Yoder formed the Band. The other members were Roy Ruby (bass) Craymore Stevens (guitar) and Lance Haas (drums). Epic Records contracted the group after they had been playing for Chicago clubs. Prior to that'The Mother Song' was their only release. Children Of The Future was their debut album that was recorded in England being relayed in the market in May 1968. However the album failed to achieve any success and also did not score among the Top 100 album chart.
